Collaborations
Woolwich Web Works frequently works closely with organizations to extend in-house teams. Some of our work with larger organizations includes:
- Rebuilding the Perimeter Institute website using modern component-driven front-end development on a tight timeline
- Proving ongoing support for legacy web applications for the University of Guelph
- Recommending and implementing a new development workflow for OCASI
- Providing expert advice and support to the Cambridge Public Library
Open Source contributions
Without open source and the community around the projects we use, we would be nothing. So, whenever we can, we contribute to the open source projects that have helped us build this business. Passing something down to the giants upon whose shoulders we stand.
- drupal-devenv — Drupal development environments in minutes, using Devenv and Nix!
- Ecwid Drupal module — Puts an Ecwid store on your Drupal site and makes it integrate well.
- Joomla! on platform.sh — template for easily installing a Joomla site on PaaS provider Platform.sh.
- We co-organise the Waterloo Region Drupal Users Group — if you're interested in Drupal, content management, or PHP development in general, come along and meet us in person!
- Views S3 export Drupal module — provides a way to export feeds from your Drupal site to Amazon AWS.
- We contribute monthly to development of the Haskell Language Server.
- In early 2024 we helped add support for filling PDF forms to pdfium-render (a high-level idiomatic Rust wrapper around Pdfium, the C++ PDF library used by the Google Chromium project).
